Bantam AAA hockey players prepare to face off in the Irving Oil Challenge Cup

Who will be the next hockey great?


Saint John, NB The best in Atlantic Canada’s Bantam AAA hockey will face off in Corner Brook, NL this week in the 19th Annual Irving Oil Challenge Cup.

 

More than 23,000 youth have competed to play in this tournament since its inception, including Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Jon Sim of the New York Islanders and Colin White of the New Jersey Devils.

We understand the passion for hockey, and the commitment it takes to get to this level of hockey,” says Lisa Savidant, Community Relations Coordinator for Irving Oil. “On ice, players learn the lessons of team work, commitment and perseverance, and they’re the same values we uphold as a company. It’s why we’re proud to be in our 19th year of sponsoring the Irving Oil Challenge Cup.”

 

The tournament takes place March 25th – March 28th at the Pepsi Centre in Corner Brook.

District 3 Irving Oil Service Master Clean Caps (Hockey New Brunswick)

Tri-Com Irving Oil Islanders (Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador)

Western Irving Oil Kings (Host)
