Using computer modeling, folks on Bobbi's team follow the crude oil market to determine which crudes will yield the highest values to our customers. Supplying reliable high quality, competitively priced products starts with Bobbi's team selecting the right combination of crudes from around the world.

Through negotiating long-term contracts as well as on-the-spot purchases of crude oil, people like Bobbi work hard to meet the needs of our customers down the line.

Al, Terminal Operations

Getting crude oil from its source to the place where it rests isn't easy. After our supply & trading team has obtained the crude oil, our logistics team schedules on time ship deliveries of crude to Irving Canaport.

That's where people like Al, who deals with the off-loading and storage of crude at Irving Canaport, play critical roles. As the only deep-water terminal on the East Coast, Irving Canaport is one of the most modern and well-equiped marine terminals in North America. Ensuring a constant supply of crude means that our customers will get the fuel they need, when they need it.

Tanya, Refinery

Once crude oil arrives at our refinery, scientists like Tanya test the crude to help make the necessary adjustments to the refining process. Taking the raw material of crude and turning it into useable fuels, our team at the refinery takes pride in the production of everything from propane and jet fuel to asphalt and bunker fuels. In fact, we have been a leader in the production of cleaner fuels with our ultra-low sulphur diesels and gasolines.

George, Distribution

George's role in distribution highlights one of our other assets, our location. When George and his coworkers move finished product by sea or by land, they don't have to travel too far. Our natural advantage is that we're only about one day's sail from New York Harbor. That means reduced overhead in delivering our quality fuels to our customers. And with professionals like George on our team, we know that their care and training in delivering these fuels means a safe and on-time delivery.

John, Lubricants Plant

Keeping our customers' equipment running smoothly starts at our lubricants plant in Saint John. Folks like John blend and package products including Max 1 engine oils, IDO (Irving Diesel Oil), and greases as well as windshield wash fluids and antifreezes. Our in-house laboratory performs oil analysis testing for everyone from the average car owner to the captain of a large marine vessels. And, when we're not producing our own products, we're packaging, toll blending, and providing on-site blow-molding services for private-label industrial and commercial clients.

Marc, Wholesale Marketing

Wholesale and Industrial Energy Service representatives like Marc work with regional energy customers ranging from small independent fuel retailers to major public and power utility companies. Because of our refinery's location, Marc can promise our wholesale customers a secure supply of high quality petroleum products and risk management solutions.

Cindy, Specialty and Industrial

The asphalt you drive on, the jet fuel that powers the plane you fly on, the marine gas oil that runs the engine that catches the tuna for the sandwich you ate for lunch...these products came to you via folks like Cindy. Specialty and industrial products produced at our refinery include: asphalt, marine gas oil, jet fuel, and heavy fuel oil (or bunker oil). When Cindy goes to work, she knows that much of what she supplies goes unnoticed by the average consumer. But, she also knows that transportation, manufacturing, and other industries are running smoothly every day because of people like her.

Nadine, Fixed Base Operations

Nadine works at one of our Fixed Base Operations (FBO) serving private, corporate, military, and chartered aircraft as well as their crews and passengers with exceptional customer service and quick turn-arounds. Consistently selected as some of the top FBOs in the world for promptness and efficiency, our Goosebay, Gander, and St. John's FBO's are conveniently located in Newfoundland, halfway between the US and Europe. And Nadine and her crew are there ready to deliver exceptional service to their clients 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

Marc is one of our team members you probably see most often if you heat your home with oil or propane. Sometimes he brings you the newspaper from the end of the driveway, but always he's the one pulling the long hose from the oil delivery truck to your tank. With automatic delivery service, you may not even notice Marc; your tank is always kept full so that you never run out of hot water or heat. Lisa's day revolves around helping others. As part of the community relations team, Lisa and her colleagues support initiatives like Fuel the Care, Quartet in the Classroom, and Fueling Dreams. She also helps manage 75 scholarships and other school programs because education is so important to us, and (because we like fun too, you know) she helps us with our support of over 35 hockey teams in Atlantic Canada. Through education, environmental, and community need partnerships and programs throughout the region, Lisa and her team help our employees and our company make a positive difference in communities where we live and work.
